History, description, and composition of the tribulus terrestris
The botanical name of this product is Tribulus terrestris. His name comes from Greek tribolos which indicates a prickly fruit in three peaks (while the fruit of the tribulus has 5 of it).
Greeks and Indian use the tribulus for centuries as tonic general, to treat diseases of the liver, of kidneys and urinary system but especially to ameliorate the libido of the men and the women. It is for decades used in Europe, the sportsmen, with bodybuildeurs at the head, use the tribulus to augment their force.
The tribulus was of more broadly used by the Eastern athletes (especially in Bulgaria) to ameliorate their performances during their trainings for Olympic Games.
